K-Chill
K-Chill. Talent
versatile, through his music, he has allowed different genres - be it
contemporary R&B, Latin influences, pop or gospel - to integrate,
and in the process, has given birth to a new and unique form of Hip Hop.
The name K-Chill comes from the first letter of his given name, Kelvin,
combined with his mellow personality. K-Chill's career continues on the road of tireless
creativity. He
currently was featured in two motion picture movies; Steppin produced by
Rain Forest Films a Sony/Tri Picture and Kissing Bandits produced by the
Hawthorne Brothers.
The album was created to appeal to a divers audience. If you listen to
the song "One Strum", it defines what the album is all about.
In the clone of the collabs of Tim Mcgraw and Nelly, Andre 3000 of
Outcast and Gwen Steffani, and Jay-Z and Lincoln Park, just to name a
few, but this is better. K-Chill has toured with Mike Jones, Khia, Boyz
N Da Hood, Mr Big Tyme, Scoundrel, D4L, Freaknasty, Layzie Bone of Bones
Thugs & Harmony, just to name a few.

Jacksonville,
Florida is home to sunny beaches, the St. Johns River, many sporting
events, and Flyi da Cool Guy. Flyi started his musical journey at the
age of thirteen and was quickly given the cool guy status because of his
laid back, open-minded demeanor. He has maintained these characteristics
throughout his career and continues to bring motivational messages to
hip hop listeners. Currently, Flyi is working on his second solo album.
Standout singles include Slangin’ Em, a gutter street track about
Duval lifestyle and Dat Dair. The video for Dat Dair was shot in the
heart of the Ville and will feature cameos from Duval’s finest
personalities. Flyi, who is known for reaching out to other Jacksonville
artists, continues to build a legacy for Whilin Mixtapes. In a time when
all doors were shut to independent artists, Flyi became the pioneer for
creating an entirely Duval compilation. The first mixtape was completed
in 1997. According to sources, the mixtapes are an outlet for struggling
artists to be heard. It helps them to build their name so when they’re
out in the streets, it’s easier to sell their music. In the summer of 2005 he was honored with a Ghetto Grammy
for Whilin 7 and 8. He was also the cover story in the 2005 special
underground issue of Ozone Magazine, based in Orlando FL. Future plans include expanding the Whilin
name into television or radio hosting. Flyi looks for any opportunity to
represent his city in the mainstream. Not only to get heard, but to get
his city heard as well.
